I think one of the big questions a lot of people ask is, what are the benefits of studying abroad? The benefits of studying abroad for students are many. They come back with all sorts of personal experiences and memories. But if you ask me, I would say that they come back, first of all, with great personal development. They come back more mature, more independent, more self motivated in so many ways, as they've had to deal with a lot of the the obstacles and challenges that being in a different country can present. So they come back better people, I think, stronger, more resilient. They also come back with lots of academic development, because they've taken courses out there with lots of international perspectives that give them just a much broader view of what they're studying and what they'd like to be. And then finally, it gives them employability as well, a real boost, a resume booster, something which will help them be better workers in the future. So many employers these days are looking for students with some kind of international or multicultural experience so they can do their job, even if it's stateside in a more- in a richer, more sophisticated way. So they're the three key benefits I see students coming back with. And you know, sometimes they don't unpack all of those advantages until a year later, two years later, three years later, but it's great to see those developments start to bear fruit years after they've actually studied abroad.
